Sex Pistols is a yaoi manga series by Tarako Kotobuki. To be honest, it's the most far-fetched story I've ever read. I don't know how, but Kotobuki-sensei manages to pull it off. From the minute I read it, I was totally sucked in.
I'm very pleased to say that Sex Pistols has been licensed by Blu Manga under the name Love Pistols (to avoid any legal issues). It's due out in the USA in January 2007.
summary
Norio used to be a normal boy, until he was in an accident on his scooter. Upon waking up in the hospital, it seems Norio's awakening into the world of Madararui had taken place. Instead of seeing people as simply people, he began seeing their spirit animals.
The ability to view soul animals is one strictly unique to the Madararui. Norio is known as a "returner to ancestry", an exceptionally rare type of Madararui that lived as an "ape" (or human) for many years. Humans cannot see the spirit animals of Madararui, and are entirely oblivious to their existance.
