Minami is a young, up-and-coming actor who stars as a hero in a TV show for kids. The villain is played by Sawada, a veteran actor. At first, the two don't really get along very well, but Minami finds himself gradually falling for his cold and stoic co-star who tries to scare him off and shows no interest. But is that what's really going on?

Hero Heel really gets me where it counts. The story is fantastic, the characters are amazing. It's all I've come to expect from Makoto Tateno. I'll just say this: I was crying at the end of the first volume. Poor Minami, he's got it rough. And Sawada... well, I'll let everyone form their own opinions about that.
