Directory Rules

Every directory has rules, and these are the original rules put in place by Danae Cassandra. I think they're very fair, but if you don't like them, that's your decision.

To be listed with the directory, all sites must abide by the following:

1. Your site must deal with manhwa, whether it is manhwa in general, a single manhwa in particular, or a relationship or character from a manhwa.

2. You must link back to the directory, the link must be visible, up at all times, and easy for me to find. You may use one of the codes to link back, you may make your own code, or you may use a text link - but it must be easy to find.

2A. Do not direct link/hotlink my codes. Save images to your own server.  Direct linking will not work anyway.  Anyone caught trying to direct link will have their link deleted from the directory.

3. If you move your site, or close it, inform me.

4. I will perform a trouble-check regularly to make sure that sites are still active in the directory. Dead links will be deleted.

5. Do not have an offensive site. This should not be a problem.

6. Fanlistings only - your fanlisting must be registered with The Fanlistings, .  This is to show support for TFL.  Like TFL, Essence will only list one fanlisting per subject. If your fanlisting is removed from TFL it will not automatically be removed here, but if another is approved in its place, and that listing wishes to be listed with Essence, it will replace yours. 

For responsible fanlisting owners, this need not be a consideration.

7. Fanlistings only - I will also remove any fanlisting that is not regularly updating every two months, whether TFL removes you or not.

Again, for responsible fanlisting owners, this need not be a consideration.

Other Considerations

Your site does not have to be in English - however, see rule #2 about linking back.  English is my only fluent language, so keep that in mind when considering how easy it will be for me to find your link back to the directory.

Your site does not have to be "all ages" or "child friendly."  Sites with adult content are welcomed, so long as they are clearly labeled.
